Being A Stay At Home Mom

I knew from the time I was a little girl that I wanted to be a stay at home mom. My mom was a single mother so I spent the majority of my childhood at babysitter's houses and daycare centers. But when my son turned 10 months old, I realized that I was going to need a break so that I could continue to enjoy it as I had since his birth. So, when he was 11 months old I hired his first babysitter for 8 hrs a week which was the perfect balance for us. My son's happy because he gets a change of scenery and to play with kids, and I'm happy because it was all I needed to be the best mom again when we're together. (As of 22 months old he goes 2 days or 18 hrs a week.) I'm so grateful that I'm able to do the most important profession there is: be a stay at home mom. I truly enjoy it (I'd go crazy if I had to work outside the home and only see him a couple of hours each night) and am 100% present & involved in my son's special life! But here you can read about the month that prompted me to get the babysitter; this was the same month that I stopped breastfeeding so hormones contributed:
